Gangtok, Darjeeling and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Tour Itinerary
Day 1
On arrival at **NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport**, you will be met by our driver who will assist you to board your vehicle to **Gangtok**. On arrival check into the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure.
GANGTOK: At an altitude of 1750 m, Gangtok became the state capital in the Mid-19th century and has undergone rapid development since then, the downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a testing ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a traveller's delight. OVERNIGHT AT GANGTOK.

Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to**Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake)** which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snow off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the colour of the lake’s waters & Also**New Baba Mandir**.

Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel later proceed **Darjeeling**. Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or **“Toy Train,”** completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.

Day 4
Early morning visit Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colours just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. It is truly a majestic sight and **Ghoom Monastery** which is the oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from **Kanchendzonga View Point**. Then visit **Batasia Loop** and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a city tour visiting **Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday)** which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, **Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursday)**, **Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday)**, **Tenzing Rock / Gombu Rock**, **Tea Estate (from outside)**, **Japanese Peace Pagoda**.

About Transport
- Due to limited car parking space in Sikkim and Darjeeling guests must wait at the lobby for vehicles to start sightseeing and transfers Vehicles will be provided sector wise and if not covered on closing day additional costs may apply Transportation will be point to point basis not disposal basis not for entire day only for sightseeing
- As per government rule sharing in Nathula is not allowed if guest want to explore Nathula they have to take SUV vehicle on private basis
Package Policy
- The itinerary provided is a suggested tour plan with the company responsible for only charged services
- The company is not obligated to provide or pay for any other suggested services
- Hotel check-in and check-out timings are based on the respective hotels
- The company is not responsible for any loss or additional costs like luggage and any personal things incurred by guests or passengers
- Any claims related to the package must be brought to the company within a week
Terms And Conditions
- Unused accommodation missed meals transportation and sightseeing tours are not refundable or exchangeable
- Hotel room allocation depends on availability at check-in
- No refunds are offered for unsatisfactory services or amenities
- Costs arising from natural calamities such as landslides road blockages and political disturbances are the responsibility of the guest
Cancellation & Refund Policy

- Refunds will be processed by the guest's booking source and sent via a/c payee cheque within 15 days
- No refund will be made against any unutilised services whatsoever may be the reason

- Any postponement or cancellation of a tour package must be notified in writing and at least 15 days before the scheduled departure date

- 30 days from the date of booking only communication charges Rs 2000 per person
- 21 to 30 days prior to departure 25 percent of tour cost
- 11 to 20 days prior to departure 50 percent of tour cost
- 10 days prior to departure full cancellation
